The Opportunity
As a Junior or Intermediate Accountant, you will be an important part in enabling our client's next phase of growth. You will become an integral part of the broader team and be mentored by Partners to help you grow into leadership positions. Position Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Partners and team members to ensure client work is completed in a timely manner
- Take lead in the preparation of Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSFs
- Prepare BAS, IAS, FBT, CGT and PAYG for a variety of companies and trusts
- Prepare and deliver annual workers compensation and payroll tax reconciliations
- Be coached directly by an experienced Partner with an aim to manage a diverse portfolio of clients
- Liaise with various statutory authorities on behalf of clients
- Help provide an exceptional service to clients
- Participate in training seminars, team meetings and social events
- Offer support and training to junior team members
About You
- 2+ years' experience in a Chartered Accounting Practice
- Chartered Accountant qualification or in progress
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or similar
- Experience using accounting software, including MYOB AE, HowNow, Active Ledger, APS, MYOB, Xero and QuickBooks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Committed to providing exceptional service to clients
- Proactive, self-motivated and enthusiastic
