Description of the job
Our client is a family-run business based in the Northern Beaches.
The business model consists of a hard core of expertise, in sales, purchasing, logistics, stock control, finance which is linked into a network of: suppliers, sales engineers and software support to help deliver the products and services to the national network of clients.
To allow the Managing Director to focus primarily on sales, promotions and supplier selection the Support and Sales Project Manager will carry out the following:
Primary Functions:
- Financial operations – Assist in management of accounts payable/receivable, payroll, superannuation, BAS/IAS lodgement, cash flow and reconciliations.
- Bookkeeping and reporting, oversee inventory-related bookkeeping, support, data analysis and maintain accurate financial records.
- Using excellent service, management and people skills to ensure the delivery of sales support, customer service and technical support outcomes.
- Assist in management of the company work processes supported by the current systems and processes and further manage the ongoing implementation of the new system
- Support internal customer service and technical support enquiries received at the office and assist in allocating them to achieve desired service levels.
- Support effective handover from the sales team of the approved Sales Quotes to ensure effective implementation
- Support the project plan to manage the implementation of relevant sales projects including procurement, pre-stage, build, liaison with customer, timeline and scheduling of installation
- Support the management and performance of the installation and support team
- Facilitate the performance of the Sales team by providing appropriate and timely technical support
- Support the communication with each customer
- Support the warehouse and installation teams, including stock levels and equipment purchasing.
- Assist in the management of the company’s attendance at industry exhibitions and conferences, workshops and other sponsored events.
- Oversee the progression of the sales process to delivery, installation and applications training
